DATE: Tuesday, November 15, 2016

TIME: Dinner available at 5:00 PM
Program 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

LOCATION: Colonial Church – Edina (6200 Colonial Way, Edina, MN 55436)

Tuesday, November 15 at Colonial Church to help us celebrate another year of God’s work through the ministries we serve!

We heard updates from two past Barnabas presenters, then get the chance to brainstorm around ways to address their latest challenges.

One2One partners with organizations serving at-risk youth, like schools, to build student-focused mentoring relationships that empower youth, equip mentors and connect communities. One2One recruits, trains and encourages mentors from local community colleges and connects them with kids in need of loving, stable relationships. We’ll hear how One2One has grown, and the lessons they have learned along the way, since first presenting to Barnabas MN in 2013.

Good in the Hood’ is called to serve the marginalized and under resourced populations of the Twin Cities by influencing, inspiring and impacting individuals, families and entire communities for good. Shoe Away Hunger is their partnering program where footwear is turned around in communities of need to provide an eco-friendly means of support for Good in the ‘Hood’s food programs. Since presenting to Barnabas MN a year ago, they have successfully launched the “Shoe Bus”, a mobile shoe store, allowing them to reach more communities in need.

After the meeting, you had the option to join follow-up teams to provide more in-depth support for each ministry.

We hope you can join us in the future and put your talents, experience and connections to work for the Kingdom.
